McDonough Release Contacts

Release questions must go to the office that owns the record. Use these McDonough County and Illinois contacts for jail discharge facts, court orders, probation, state custody, notifications, or a federal immigration custody question.

This is not a government office. We cannot pull records, confirm custody or release, change a case, or connect a call to the jail.

Sheriff and Jail Records

McDonough County Sheriff's Office and Jail
110 S. McArthur St.
Macomb, IL 61455
Sheriff: 309-833-2323
Jail: 309-833-5245
Fax: 309-833-1077
Email: sheriff@sheriff.mcdonough.il.us

Ask the jail about current custody or whether its record says discharged or transferred. Written requests for a jail register, booking sheet, discharge entry, or available booking photo go to FOIA Officer Bailey Rauch at brauch@sheriff.mcdonough.il.us. No local special photo fee was found. Illinois baseline copy fees are the first 50 ordinary black-and-white pages free, then no more than $0.15 per page, with allowed actual cost for other media.

Court and Probation Contacts

McDonough County Circuit Clerk, Ian Fischer
#1 Courthouse Square
Macomb, IL 61455
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
All court matters: 309-837-4889
Traffic and ordinance: 309-836-2777
Fax: 309-833-4493
ifischer@9thjudicial.org

The clerk owns court orders, dispositions, sentence and probation records. A docket event is not itself proof of physical release, so reconcile it with the jail entry.

McDonough County Probation, Supervisor Erica Thurman
130 S. Lafayette St., #10
Macomb, IL 61455
309-837-2307
Fax: 309-833-5570

There is no public all-probationer name search. Start with the court disposition and contact the office for confirmation it may lawfully provide.

State Custody and VINE

Illinois Department of Corrections
Public search help: 217-558-2200
Public Information Office
1301 Concordia Court, P.O. Box 19277
Springfield, IL 62794-9277

IDOC covers state-prison status and parole or mandatory supervised release, not ordinary county-jail releases.

Illinois VINE
1-866-566-8439 (1-866-5-NOTIFY)
Relay: 7-1-1
IDOC Victim Services registration help: 877-776-0755

VINE supports custody and case notifications. It is not a certified release record, and a transfer alert is not community release.

Federal Immigration Contact

ICE Detention Reporting and Information Line
1-888-351-4024
Monday through Friday, excluding holidays
8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern

Use ICE only when the county record indicates immigration custody or transfer. Federal BOP and USMS questions follow their separate custody systems.
